The Registration Process


Our registration for the 2010-2011 school year will begin on January 14, 2010. Active Church families and currently enrolled students are guaranteed a space in our Preschool. Younger siblings of currently enrolled students should register at this time. Parents should indicate on the Application for Enrollment form their 1st and 2nd choices and return the form with a check for $75.00 no later than January 14, 2010.

The registration committee will then process the applications of church and currently enrolled families. If a class is over-subscribed, applications for that class will be placed into a lottery. Children not chosen for the class will be placed, in order based on the outcome of the lottery, on a waiting list for that class. The child will then be placed in their second choice. Placement letters will be mailed the following week. At that time, we will ask for the tuition deposit (May 2011’s tuition) to secure your child’s enrollment at GFUMP.

For families new to our school, the Application for Enrollment and registration fee of $75 are due on February 2nd for the earliest placement consideration. Beginning February 3rd, the registration committee will place the children into classes, by lottery if necessary, until all classes are filled. Any child who is not placed into a class will be placed on a waiting list in the order based on the outcome of the lottery. Historically, given the nature of our community, most children on our waiting lists are eventually enrolled in our preschool.
