“Dear Staff (or should I say family?!)
We would like to take the time to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the very important role you’ve all played in our children’s lives. The stew our kids simmered in at GFUMP consisted of love & concern, support, nurturing, lots of creativity, humor, patience, acceptance…and all that while learning…and learning not just the basic academics, but how to be good people. It saddens us to leave this place. I’ve toyed with the idea of having another baby just so we could still attend. No Can Do! So, thank you, thank you, thank you!”

“What a wonderful year it has been! E has had such a wonderful experience…and has learned so much! It’s hard to know where to start. She has learned to write and draw pictures and is starting to learn to read. She counts and does dot-to-dot pictures and can find matching objects and patterns. She learned about ice and magnets and dinosaurs and different countries. Probably her favorite activity was dressing up and playing imaginative games with other children. The pageants were outstanding and we loved the patriotic songs and meal blessings. It’s hard to express how grateful we are that she was part of your class and was able to have all of those amazing experiences. We thank you (all) for your patience, nurturing, creativity, energy, cheerfulness, and loving ways – you are outstanding teachers!”

“….I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and the staff of Great Falls United Methodist Preschool for giving my daughters a wonderful start on their educations. It is hard to believe that we have been associated with your wonderful program for 8 years now. I think back to the first day we sent S. off to school. (The teachers) could sense my wife’s concern…so they gave her a call that morning to report how S was doing on her first day. Then there was the day when A was in preschool and (there was an family emergency). The staff took care of A well past the normal pick-up time and even arranged for her to have lunch. I could go on and on with examples of the love and kindness you and your staff have shown my family.
We were first drawn to the school because we could feel the loving caring environment there. We have sent each of our four children there because they have all felt loved and encouraged. We do not hesitate to recommend your school to our friends and family. We are confident that anyone who selects GFUMP will be as overwhelmingly satisfied as we have been. I hope that you will express our appreciation to (teachers) for all that they have done for our family. We will miss seeing them each day next year. We wish you and your staff continued success and happiness. You have such a wonderful school and program. It is no wonder why so many seek to send their children there.”

“…would like to thank you for giving W. a wonderful gift this year – a perfect start to his many years of education ahead. W. has just blossomed this year..not just in his ability to recognize letters, or counting, or days of the week…but in his enthusiasm for learning. He loves school! We are so proud of his accomplishments and development this year, and we know it is due in large part to the hard work you’ve done and the love you’ve given him this year. It’s bittersweet to say goodbye to the preschool but we, and most importantly, W. is excited to move on to the big world of kindergarten!”

“We would like to take a moment to congratulate you on an excellent school year and also express our gratitude for the tremendous job you and your staff have done this past year in teaching our son. We could not have asked for better teachers to ease the transition of (his) first year. The ladies have constantly treated our son with love and affection as if he were one of their own. We feel J has made great strides this year thanks to the nurturing and interactive manner in which these ladies have taught our son.”

“We are all grateful for your support. We are blessed to have you all as part of our lives. Thank you for being there during this difficult time.”

“….it is heartening to know that someone else shows so much care and concern for (our child’s) well-being. Reflecting back, we realize the improvement she has made this year, thanks to the hard work of your teachers. We will miss you.”

“I just wanted take this opportunity to thank you for all that you’ve done for both of my children while they were students at GFUMP. They learned so much from you, and I think E’s success in school can be traced back to the great preschool experience she had with you.
From you, E. learned the importance of being a good friend and having a zest for learning. She tries hard at everything she does and has become a loyal and honest friend – traits I think GFUMP consistently instills in its students. She is not afraid to try things, including being on stage. I couldn’t be prouder of her and the girl she has become.
J has always had an excitement for life, and with you he is excited for school. He loves going to school everyday. It may seem like playtime to him, but he always brings home his projects beaming with pride.
Thank you for loving my children. When we looked at schools, we looked for one where our children would feel loved and develop a love for school. The bells and whistles didn’t matter to me. A home away from home did. They have always felt your support and affection. J has even learned to ask for help when he is troubled or hurt. He trusts you and loves you. I will miss the GFUMP family. It was our first “home” in Great Falls and still have very close friendships with the families we met in those first years. I think (my children) will grow up to be better human beings for having known you.”

“Thank you …. for making A’s transition to GFUMP so easy for her. She has loved your school since day 1 and we are thankful she will be continuing there next year. I thank you for welcoming her, teaching her, caring for her and being so nice to her. We will miss you as her teacher next year! Have a great summer!”

“I wish I could tell you how much our time at GFUMP meant to all of us…from the great performances, to comfortable chats around the office, to helpful loving advice by phone. We love and miss you all and will never forget you. God bless you!”
L.E.
“Thank you for the many years you have taken care of our children. We will never forget the incredible staff at GFUMP.”

“We used the United Methodist’s preschool for my youngest son and we very much liked it. The teachers were just great and P enjoyed the school a lot. I felt that both teachers and the director paid a lot of attention to individual needs of a child and worked closely (and hard) with parents, too. It was hard to get in and it is important to apply early.”

“We made up this poem for you…”
Today is the day…
I say goodbye to Mrs. Gay and Mrs. Bray.
Over the summer I hope to play,
In the hay by the bay,
And eat lunch off my butterfly and ladybug tray.
But when I’m away…
Fond memories of our class will stay.
I love movement class and using clay,
Housekeeping, circle time, and our school plays.
Story time and chapel time were more than okay,
Music and snack time made me say, “Hip, Hip, Hooray!”
So…
Before I go to bed I pray,
The way I was taught in school,
That all my family and my friends
May be safe and sound and blessed in every way!
